Summary: Sermon text Isaiah 53:7. Jesus' moniker was "The Lamb who takes away the sins of the world." A lamb was sacrifice for sins. 1. Jesus goes to the root of the problem, not the symptom. 2. Jesus was like us - in the flesh, real. 3. Jesus expects discipleship. 4. Jesus has power in His politics. He was not fighting for power in this world. We have no record of encouraging fighting for power among disciples.
