Summary: As a father only in understanding the principles of God's word can we teach our children. Some principles of authority: Fathers have a role of authority in the home. That authority is carried out only with a heart of love. Authority is not a position of privilege but of servitude. Authority brings accountability. Those in authority need to recognize the authority of those above them in order to successfully lead. We need to teach our children why we do what we do. Abraham laid a foundation and his legacy continues today.
