Summary: Exodus 10:23 During the plague of darkness in the land of Egypt, the Israelites had a supernatural light in their homes. Today we live in a time of darkness. What do we need to have light in our dwellings? There will be light in our homes if: 1. There is at least one person in the family who has a genuine connection with God. 2. Our marriages reflect the beauty of blending our differences and choosing enduring love. 3. Our children are valued as a blessing from God and we seek to prepare them for a life of service for the calling God has for them (instead of existing solely for the parent's purposes.) 4. We communicate compassion to our neighbors as we are brought face to face with their needs.
